Howdy folks! We’re Plains Internet. We offer high speed wireless internet in rural and urban areas, in the Texas panhandle. Our company is locally owned, and growing like crazy. Maybe you’ve heard of us, maybe you haven’t. Maybe you’re a current customer, (for which we are grateful). Maybe you’re not… Yet.
The Beginning
In January of 2013, two gentlemen saw a need in the high plains area for fast and reliable internet. Those same two gentlemen wanted to fill that need. That first year, Robert Prothero went door to door every day with the hopes of getting at least ONE customer. Then, he and Joseph Monroe, (who also owns CPU), would go back the next day to install their internet. In the first year, they had a handful of employees and 60 customers. They learned pricing and how to improve their company by listening to some exceptionally patient customers. Joseph says, “Our customers have guided us. We owe them a HUGE debt of gratitude.” He also mentioned how we are continually learning from our customers.
Speaking of Customers
We love you guys! Although we are an internet company, our main focus is service, and our customers. It is important to us that you speak to a human when you call us. It’s important that if we don’t immediately know the answer to your question, that we find an answer. It’s important that you all know you’re the reason we exist and continue to grow. Thank you.
